Andrew Pfeiffer serves as a Project Director at Cogent Analytics, where he partners directly with business owners to uncover inefficiencies, align teams, and implement strategic improvements that lead to long-term business success. With over 20 years of experience in operations, project management, and consulting across multiple industries, including construction, education, food brokerage, and small business, Andrew brings both practical insight and leadership to every engagement.
His professional journey began in family-run and small businesses, where he developed a deep respect for the grit, responsibility, and resilience required to grow and sustain an organization. Over time, he transitioned from business operator to strategic consultant, applying that same hands-on mindset to help other owners regain clarity, consistency, and control.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from DeVry University. He has developed a proprietary framework, The 5 E’s: Experience, Expectations, Execution, Education, and Empowerment, which he now integrates into Cogent’s consulting methodology. This framework allows him to diagnose root issues, set clear priorities, implement high-leverage changes, equip teams through training, and ultimately empower leadership to sustain success. It aligns seamlessly with Cogent’s Profit Platform and four strategic objectives: improving net income, strengthening liquidity, building long-term wealth, and enhancing the quality of life for business owners.
Andrew is driven by a desire to help others thrive—professionally and personally. He believes business owners deserve to feel supported, equipped, and confident in the companies they’re building. His strength lies not just in solving problems, but in teaching others how to lead with clarity and intention, long after his engagement ends.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys time with his wife and three children, working on outdoor projects, and engaging in continuous learning. A man of faith, he draws strength from Psalm 27:1 — “The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread?” — a verse that grounds his purpose and reminds him to lead with courage, humility, and trust in something greater than himself. He believes that helping others succeed, whether in business or life, is one of the most rewarding things a person can do.
