Lose & Associates has just completed our four week exercise with Cogent. On behalf of all the partners I can report that we are pleased with the results and excited at the potential we hope to realize as our new processes become ingrained. Classic Custom Cabinetry Letter
Cogent Analytics has helped me get Classic Custom Cabinets back in the profitable sector again by assisting me in understanding where my cash was being spent. There were a number of ideas I had for the company and just never found the time to implement them. Cogent Analytics really helped in this category. Job tracking, cash management, collections, and final installation signoff check lists were a few of the areas that I knew I needed to be doing but just had not implemented, with Cogent’s help, now we have these systems and others up and running. We are growing and I needed to ensure we grew in a profitable manner. Cogent has really helped to ensure we are prepared for the growth cycle next year.

As we wrap up our initial coaching and intensive investigation with Cogent Analytics, I want to report that this time period has really FORCED me to focus on the weaknesses and needs that initially made me want to hire Cogent Analytics. The Cogent team is a real encourager so make it easy to hear what needs to be changed and he is constantly focusing on the remedy not the fault.
I believe will make the things we have accomplished so far have laid a real groundwork for the improvement of our company. I look forward to seeing all of these things implemented as well as the next consultation. This is scheduled for March at this time.

When we first met with Cogent Analytics, we were very skeptical of how they were going to meet our needs. We knew what we needed as a business to get to the next level but not exactly sure how to get there.
With their expertise, Cogent took all of our information that we provided and came up with solutions to be able to work through our growing pains, it was a matter of us having faith in them and they came through.
For the first couple of weeks, we did not know the extent of the help they would be providing, but after more time spent on the project, we were pleasantly surprised of the progress being made. Not only did they come in and help with our efficiencies, but also made sure that we were doing the things necessary to run a successful business. At the same time, making sure that we were to stay focused and on track moving forward.
As a business, we have learned very valuable concepts and practices that we will be able to utilize for years to come.

I believe we are making great progress to our goal of being a better and more efficient firm. I appreciate your good work. On Friday 02.05.2015 we will have a wrap up meeting with you and the partners to receive your thoughts, recommendations and deliverables to this point.
It is our plan to take what we have learned and prepare our roll out for April 1, 2015. We will evaluate our progress monthly with a detailed drift down in 6 months and 12 months. It will be my goal to improve our WIP to 75% billed in 6 months and 90% billed in 12 months.
We may call upon you to assist in evaluation of our progress over this period.
Again, thank you for your work. What we have learned will improve information flow, accountability, and firm organization, job descriptions, hiring practices, staff evaluation and coaching, project profitability and staff utilization. What we have learned will also help us identify the next generation of leaders for the firm.
Carolina Services of the Triad Letter
Marlene, Kevin and I are the owners of Carolina Services of the Triad, Inc., a commercial contract cleaning company located in Kernersville, NC. We have been in business since 1995. Through the years we have continued to grow our business. Recently the growth has increased substantially and we started to notice some growing pains. We decided to hire Cogent Analytics to help us with our growing pains by implementing systems and procedures so that our company can continue to grow and thrive. Cogent paired us with Marc Yovanovich. Working with him over the last two weeks has been a great benefit to our company. He has helped us have a proactive view of our cash flow and a set schedule for when checks will be written. Marc has also helped us to understand the difference between cash management and cash flow. I can see this system being used for many years to come.
Marc has also taken the time to critique our sales pitch and pricing procedures. We now realize that our pricing sheets were missing some very important business elements. Adding these items into the cost of each job only increased their price a small amount and allows us to reduce our overhead rate.
We are very excited about the changes and suggestions that we foresee happening with our company with Marc’s continued help. We engaged Cogent Analytics to assist us in advancing our company. After a thorough analytics meeting we decided to proceed and Terry W. Protto, Project Manager, was assigned to our project due to his manufacturing and marketing background.
Terry quickly began a profit engineering project so that we could know our costs. It was at a critical time, since we were implementing new software, where we had to enter our costs. Terry worked closely with our Production Manager and Creative Manager on costing and system integration,
There were many other advancements for the company including Organization and that is putting position descriptions, performance reviews, job offers and non-disclosures in the file for each employee. We had not done that before.
We now have a budget that we did not have before. This budget will be integrated into QuickBooks which Terry helped install and set the account architecture
We want to thank Cogent Analytics for the assistance they have provided. We look forward to staying in touch with Terry in the future.

My name is Dennis Webb and I am the plant manager at Alabama Copper & Bronze. Chuck Blume bas many multi-tasking skills and is very knowledgeable in organization skills. Mr. Blume has excellent communication skills he has demonstrated tremendously while working with Alabama Copper & Bronze. He has brought new ideas, motivation, and structure to our company. I have enjoyed working with him and hope to continue our relationship with him here at ACB for future planning and overlooking our processes for improvement.
