Dear Fellow Business Owners,
As a business we pride ourselves in striving to be the best that we can be. As BSEG grew, we found it
necessary to evolve our processes so that we could better serve our clients and provide growth for our
team. To accomplish that effectively, we engaged Cogent Analytics.
During the initial discovery phase, we found Vince to be blunt – but ultimately very engaging and helpful
in extracting meaningful data from our entire team. This helped us identify areas we wanted to focus
on. His analysis was truthful and in line with what we were looking for. So, we were eager to work with
the rest of the Cogent team to help us untap the next level of our growth phase.
During the next phase of our engagement, we worked closely with John. He was very helpful in furthering
the initial list of recommendations and developing them into a plan of action. For nine weeks John
meticulously analyzed all aspects of our operations. His business acumen was very impressive and his
method of keeping us on track was very helpful. With his help we have formalized numerous processes,
implemented a more effective resource management software, better aligned company and employee
goals, and refined performance metrics at all levels. Ultimately, this engagement has been very helpful.
We feel it has set us up for success by allowing us to better focus on what we do best – provide value to
our clients and meaningful careers for our staff.
As we go into the next chapter of our business life, we feel that through this engagement we are set up
for much more success and growth. I hope to look back within a year or so, and see the fruits of this
process, which all started when I fatefully took a sales call from a Cogent Analytics salesperson. The
type of call that I had ignored in the past.
