With 23 years of experience in nine countries on four continents, Stefan Dorman has built his professional career around helping other people discover their journey to success. He is adept at leading decision-makers through what can feel like a non-linear, iterative process by applying detailed and intentionally designed management fundamentals to ensure that solutions are desirable from a human point of view and associated with what is operationally feasible and financially viable. This always begins by understanding and communicating both risks and opportunities, but most importantly, defining WHY success matters to each individual.
Stefan Dorman has helped business owners, executives, and managers to focus on personally directing the systems and processes for continual improvement and integrating persistent operational control methods into business plans. Even though each situation is different, one functional progression always delivers: prioritize operational and financial goals to focus on the highest-impact items in alignment with the organization’s vision and strategic objectives. In tandem with cultivating optimism, he will then guide them on how to provide leadership and monitor progress on these plans until a successful conclusion is reached.Â
With many years in the Oil & Gas industry, principally working with global companies BP and Chevron, whether offshore or onshore, upstream or downstream, international or domestic, he has experience working in diverse and extreme conditions. Additionally, he has industry experience across his career within specific sectors such as Commercial Construction, Hydrogeological Engineering, Government Agencies, Automotive Services, Supply Chain & Inventory Management, Pharmaceuticals, Banking, and Financial Investing.
He is a U.S. Army Veteran, a Trusty Shellback, a former Saddle Tramp, an unassuming dilettante of philosophy and quantum physics, and with his remarkable wife, a parent to six wonderful daughters sanctioning his “#1 Dad†coffee mug.
