Robert’s expertise is in corporate and field financial planning and analysis and helping companies improve their business results.
Robert spent the first seven years of his career in management consulting performing Enterprise Resource Planning selection and implementation, Business Process Reengineering/Business Transformation projects and a number of logistics and supply chain projects. Robert’s first corporate employer was with Frito-Lay North America, in which he spent four years in Field Finance and five years at the Corporate Headquarters as the Director of Financial Planning, the Director of Operations Analysis and a Group Manager of Reengineering reporting to the Controller. After a major restructure of the field sales organization, Robert accepted a role in the restaurant industry in the role of Vice President Finance and Investor Relations at Steak and Shake, which he held for three years. Robert then accepted the role of Vice President Financial Planning and Analysis at Simmons Bedding Company for the next five and a half years. Most recently, Robert worked at Bridge2 Solutions which operates in the loyalty and reward fulfillment arena, working with the major banks to provide outlets for consumers to use their points to purchase a wide variety of different options (merchandise, gift cards, event tickets, etc).
Robert and his family live in central Florida. After graduating sixth in high school class, Robert entered Dartmouth College, where he captained Dartmouth football team his senior season and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in electrical engineering. Robert was accepted into the Amos Tuck School of Business in dual degree program in which he earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree and a Master of Business Administration degree over a two- year period.
