Mr. Robert Hahn was born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY. He attended the State University of New York at Buffalo (U.B. to locals), where he earned Bachelor of Arts Degrees in History and Political Science. Thereafter, he continued on at U.B. in the Graduate School of Education, where he received a Masters Degree in Education (M.Ed). He holds a permanent New York State Public School Teacher Certificate in Secondary Social Studies, and he briefly taught school in the Buffalo area. Mr. Hahn attended the U.B. Law School thereafter, where he graduated with his Doctor of Law Degree (J.D.). He practiced law in the Buffalo area for 14 years, specializing in business and corporate law among other things.
Mr. Hahn also owned and managed a Buffalo area new home construction business with a partner during this time period. They built single family residences, and apartment buildings in Grand Island, NY, where Bob lives to this day.
In 1996, Mr. Hahn switched focus, and entered the business consulting arena. He has worked for a very large national firm for the first 14 years, and he has worked since then in two smaller, more intimate and more client-friendly firms, including Cogent Analytics. During this 20 year time period in management consulting, he has worked with 976 companies as of the end of 2015, located all over the United States and Canada. In these companies Mr. Hahn has helped client companies fix the problems that they are not capable of fixing themselves, or do not have the time to fix. Commonly, this focuses upon increasing revenues, increasing productivity of employees, proper estimating and pricing procedures, proper accounting procedures, increasing bottom line profitability of the companies, and creating greater ease of operations for ownership.
Based upon his educational background, coupled with the large volume of experience in helping clients that he has worked with over a long period of time, he is one of the foremost experts in the country concerning the management of small to medium sized businesses.
